It would appear that many early issue munitions of the SS TV were marked as such , the SS TV marked 7.92 K98 Cartridge cases are another example !!

    Hello..

Here are some from my humble collection of stielhandgranaten.

These were all found as is, I have not cleaned them but will tidy them up a bit later ,, better threads and end caps and clean the wood.
There are two types of manufacturer marks.

    SS-TV 1940 MSM
    CAP 41 SS-TV

Ian .. look forward to seeing more of your SS sticks in the future and thank you for sharing your finds with us.

    Best Regards Nick ,,

Yes is different,, there were many different makers of these handles and their stamps differ in appearance , this confuses
    us collectors :-/
( it would have been nice if they all the stamps looked the same.. would saved a lot on the confusion in the collecting world today )

Hi Nick its interesting to me that all the ones you have shown are HE stick grenades and all the ones i found were Nb they must have used the same handles on both types of grenade ,
