Unfired 1884 .45/70 Round

Hi guys,

This is an 1884 .45/70 round for the Springfield trapdoor rifle. I got it from a friend and fellow forum member. Kind of a neat little round, eh?

have some of those I got with my trap door. You know why they went to Brass cases instead of the copper ones like you have... During the Indian wars the guns would heat up and swell the copper and they would Seize in the chambers and would not extract. Thus the user would get killed. Here is my box I received with the limited rounds. If you read the printing on the Box. It says Never Reload except under the supervision of a competent officer. Think about that statement...
