Hi I have found some ammo and now im looking what kind of ammo it is.
I want to now what ammo and by wich weapon its fired


ST 1943 20MM
RH 1944 20MM
P94 XI 39 17f
R A 42

3th one is a 20mm flak 38 i guess

ST is for Royal Ordnance Factory, Steaton
RH is for Hersteller Raleigh Cycle Co
I think both are for 20 x 110 Hispano

the third:
20 x 138 Flak
P94 is for Kabel und Metallwerke Neumeyer A.G., Nuremberg

the fourth ? it does not seem a 20 mm one ?

I think the 4th one is .50 Browning made by Remington Arms.....Pete.

Here's a photo of a 20mm Hispano and a .50 Browning, for comparison. IMHO it's a .50 cal. I did have a look through mine but it looks like i've thrown out the damaged examples, including my one with the same markings

Is your 50 case belted? Looks like a .55 Boys anti-tank case rather than Browning .50

Yes, definitely a .55 Boys Armour Piercing W Mark II. There was very little .50 Browning made in the UK during WWII and the only manufacturer was ROF Spennymoor (SR). Also British Browning cases wwere "Universal" with no load type included, load being identified by tip colours in the ususal way.
