This was recently given to me by a friend who’s father brought it back from the was. I think is a 37mm AT round. Looks to have been fired with the rifling marks. I have never seen one with a flat tip. Overall length is 12 5/8”. Any thoughts?

It looks like an uncapped AP round. You have the base but not the cap is my take. This is the site I found possible conclusion from.

Thanks, so it’s a practice round missing the cap?
I think it is an AP round without the cap I could not cut and paste as the article is reader only but if you scroll down to 42 is where I came to my conclusion.

Thanks.
Its a prac round
I had a case once with British markings on the base. Presumably made under British Contract rather than UK manufacture?
