The first shotgun shell looks like a British made 8 gauge,the rifle cartridge is made by China (Norinco) and is probably .223 Remington,the other shotshell,need more accurate measurements,in millimeters,of rim,base,case and OAL.

Yup! for sure that is WW1 .303, I have a full original box somewhere.

Here are the measurements
The rim dimension matches up for a 20 gauge shell but it`s too short,so I will take a guess that it is for a flare pistol or a starter cartridge for some kind of motor,maybe someone else can help you?
