    Hi all. Thought I would share this as it was new information to me. I was reading through a facsimile copy of a Civil Defense manual entitled "Objects Dropped From The Air" and came across this. Seems like a waste of a bayonet scabbard to me, but I guess they must have had plenty as surplus stock. So if you ever see a German bayonet scabbard with serration in, don't just pass it off as junk
