    I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but the 3 inch Mk. 27 projectiles shown were not used in the 3 inch 23 cal or 3 inch landing gun. They were only used in the 3 inch 50 cal gun. I have attached photos of some 3 inch 23 cal projectiles.

    It has been a long time to finish the Poole Eng & Machine deck gun but it is finally done. Still looking for a site however.

    Beautiful job you have done, it's enough to make a sailor blush. I probably have a few extra inert rounds. let me know if you ever come up to N.W. Oregon and we'll see what I can dig up.
