'37 Eickhorn Bayonet

Recent addition to my collection and a keeper, in reasonable condition 1937 dated Bayonet and scabbard with matching numbers and nice clear Waffenamts.........now looking for a K98 rifle to go with it.......off to a Vintage & Antique arms fair on Sunday so fingers crossed.......

Nice bayo! You would be surprised how well this would clean up with some gun oil, rag and tooth brush. These early 84/98's hold there bluing well and some of that rust will come off rather easily. Good luck with your rifle search.

Thanks guys, I had a bit of a clean up of the numbers and markings with a toothbrush and some Renaissance wax so will give it a good clean at some point.......

Yes a nice bargain. only gently cleaning and good oiling to stop rust areas.
