Yes, IMO the "6X5" could be used as a pretty fine combat knife also for sure, and, it´s blade is much more solid than the blade of the 1959/2 pattern bayonet.

Also Lithuania issued the soviet "6X5" in it´s Army, (also the soviet M1959/2).
