Thanks a lot for helping me out Walkwolf. I did not expected them to be of great monetary value. I payed a few bottles of vodka for the whole lot. Wonder how a British WW1 Bayo ended up there. Were the Limeys on the Eastern front in WW1?
For sure. Even without help i know #4 is German, and you sortet that one out.
No.2 is Yugo conversion of austrain model 1895 bayonet - The marking is known as the Kragiyervac
Super. Thanks a lot Franz1944. Is it made for the Yugo army or? Do you know the rifle it's made for?
for what gun im not sure, my guess is a mauser not sure what gun yugos used
As for made for yugo yes it was, a pre war bayo and could have been used by the yugo's during the war.
It very similar to m1924 yugo.
I fixed my error guys - thanks for catching it.........!
The British '07 was once a very common item, but it could also have
been taken as a souvenir by a German soldier in WWI. 40 years
ago they were readily available over here at $5.00 each.
I too would have made the trade for a couple
of bottles of hooch.........!
Regards,
Steve.
The Nr.2 is a normal yugoslavian M1924 bayonet for the yugo M24 rifle, isnt any austrian reworks there, same as i dont know where something bring together cyrilic alphabet with Slovakia? we have latin alphabet, so the other yugo M48 bayonet was made too in Yugoslavia.
