    Hello guys,
This is my latest addition to my collection.
It is a No8 Bayonet designed for the 7.92mm S.L.E.M. (Self Loading Experimental Model) rifle.
This was never adopted and is classed as as trials bayonet.
It looks like the No5 Bayonet but the muzzle ring is 14.8mm as opposed to22.6mm on the No5.
It is marked with a P and dated 1946.
    Any comments appreciated.

    Regards

    Jim
