M1917 K.U.K. fighting knife, this knife was used by my friends grandfather in hungarian army during WW2 east front...

BTW, the Komporday knife is a little huger than other M1917 pattern fighting knives !
Komporday&Stosz knives are unique among the M1917 knives, the handle is thicker, therefore you can hold it in your hand much better, the crossguard is also longer, which gives your hand more protection.Usually theese knives are marked with hungarian crest, mostly on the crossguard, sometimes on the blade, i have never met Komporday knife with austrian markings before.
