Demag Crank Handle Ersatz Boyonet/Knife

Article about: by rbemer207 If i would like to clean the blade of my wwi butcher bayonet what should i use? Or should i even do it? Ryan I like your Bayo and would leave as is. Little Ren wax would'nt hurt

    Demag Crank Handle Ersatz Boyonet/Knife Needed some cleaning..

    After 2 1/2 hours of polishing with Simichrome and the some Ren wax I think it turned out well.

    I like the hand grip as it must contour to the hand for a tighter grip!!

    I have always wanted to add one of these to my bayonet collection and also put it on my Kar98a But have always been afraid about the copies that are on the market!!!!!!
    That one looks great !!! Good job on the clean up. That blade looks beautiful!!!!!

    Thanks Larry. There are more fakes than real of these IMO.
    It shows no sign of sharpening of molestation But I thought it needed a simple cleaning of the blade.
    Handle is what it is and nothing to be done there.

    Thanks Chris and Larry and Phil for the comments as I know these are not well known to most collectors.
    I am not a WW1 collector as most know . But I like these very much.
