Article about: ..a typical fake?

It is a fantasy not a fake! A fake is something which copies an original. As this type of bayonet did not exist then it is a fantasy bayonet. It was a guy from the North of England in the 70's who acid etched these things which are now as mentioned collect able in their own right.

I remember these so-called "dress/parade/presentation" bayonets from the '70s too, but not being a bayonet man I never knew there were NONE originally....they were always just beyond my financial reach (luckily!)....'always thought they were copies of something or other. Thank you for clarifying.

'any more info about the mysterious Northerner who created them?..was it really all one bloke?
