Re: French Bayonet INFO please
Silver alloy handle is an M1886 with hooked quillon, the other is an M1886/93/16 with a brass handle, no hook-both fit on the Lebel M1886 rifle and the later Berthier M1907/15 long infantry rifles. The bayonet was nicknamed 'Rosalie' by the Poilus (French soldiers).

Re: French Bayonet INFO please
Second one of french type is a M1886/15 mainly for Berthier rifles. The one of the Berg and Co are probably rework as with new serials added, the blade was sharpened.

Re: French Bayonet INFO please
Correct on the K98, I picked it up in Norway. So it was more than likely passed in to the Norwegian Army arsenal at some stage or another after the war.
