So why wasn't the knife popular?

The design of the hilt wasn´t really ergonomic, the blade lost it´s sharpness very quickly, very dull tip of the blade, the lack of balance, the jangle of the metal scabbard, ...
All these were reasons why, to discard this pattern knife.
Because the shape, (design), of the blade, this knife was more a tool, than a weapon ! ...

Hello !

Some collectors mates wrote in this particular thread, they´re interested to get such knives.
I do have two of them, (worn and used items), for trade.
I´m looking for an US Army issued US M9 bayonet, or an British Army issued SA80 bayonet.

I am confident that this knife is a reproduction of Robt Klass.
But I was really surprised to see the quality of the knife and the sheath.

Has "BW" in handle and proper sheath.

Is there a year stamped upon the blade, (for example 79, for 1979) ?

The knife looks good so far.
I saw a knife with this maker´s mark, manufactured in 1979, before.
