Hungarian WWI bayonet, made by Fegyver És Gépgyár Reszvenytarsasag (Weapons and Equipment Factory L.L.C.) of Budapest, abbreviated F.G.G.Y.
Jim
ok thanks, but I'm not sure which type.....
Greetings SRB,
Here is a Czech website with many M95 variants to review M95 If you use a translator you can review plenty of info on these bayos.
Regards,
Lance
The bayonet was made by Budapest but could be a imperial proofed, we should see other ricasso, the right side not good visible but probably a austrian empire eagle?, normal M1895 for long rifle bayonet, the 4 digits on crossguard are typical for bulgarian postwar reworks. The pommel is sometimes unit marked.
