    1) unknown fighting knife. what i like about it that there is no visible connection between the blade and the handle . no marking . very heavy knife. could be it made out from a bayonet ?

2)Sheffield England William rogers I cut my way bone handle 3.5" blade.
i know that William rogers was one of the makers of the commando British commando knife.

Interesting fighting knife, I hope we can find out more about it. Can you post of a pic of the hilt, viewed from the tip?

That one with the bone handle looks similar to the hunting knife I used to own. I believe it was made by PIC in Solingen though. Good money for stag and bone handled knives these days. Thanks for sharing

Damn spelling... ;-) I meant from the top.

All of my old stag knives like that are Solingen too, some quite impressive!

Looks like it was ground down , if it doesn't have any marks on the blade I say large hunting knife rehandled and retipped .

I say cut and ground down bayonet, the steel just past the guard is pretty thick for any typical hunting knife, but seems about right for a bayo. Something from eastern Europe?

    Hi All,
The knife with the wooden grip began life as a Canadian Ross bayonet.Look closely at what is left of the crossguard..
