My thoughts as exactly as Steve said-you don't find these big old 07's in this kind of condition anywhere anymore. When we were kids, we loved these old vet's because they were so huge and heavy-they were like pirate swords and they were everywhere for cheap as dirt-but those days are long behind us now. I like the nice unit marks on it as well. A great pick up, for sure!

Nice bayo, I'm not sure it ever had qullion as the production of qullion 1907 stop in 1913. But it's an early and definitely no rework ( no hole in pommel as well)

Did you crack the regiment code it used to serve in?

Thanks for the info. I wasn't sure about the quillion - if it was a modded one, or later. But all the same, you don't find many in this condition. I thought I had mentioned the unit markings. It's 3rd battalion Welch Fusiliers.

Yeap, it is getting very difficult to find 07 in such condition. Kinda missed the part of regiments you mentioned, my bad.
