    Default NVA "Kampfmesser 66" , (2nd pattern)

    Hi, mates !

Yesterday I received five KM66, (2nd pattern), NVA of the, former, GDR.
    Fortlaufende Nummern, ( consecutive numbers): 4941, 4942,4943,4944, and, 4945

All of them are showing the result of careless storage, ("vestiges of the past" ! ) ...

The blades´re covered with sticky cosmoline, also, a lot of dust inside the boxes ...

The seller wrote to me, he bought the knives straight after the "Wende".
The knives were probably stored in an NVA-Dienststelle in Prettin originally ... ?

Anyway, nice knives, meanwhile, not that easy to get ! ...

Here´s some images of three of the knives from the vendue.

    Cheers,
    R.

    Those are really great.

Don't kill me here guys, but I would love to have one of these (or the old Bundeswehr knives) just to use around the farm! They look tough as nails and can take some abuse...

    Hi, Michael !

    Probably a wise choice.
When I head out in my van to go camping or fishing, I am never without my Ka-bar.

A true multi-purpose tool (hammer, punch, wedge/prybar, etc). And it even works well as a knife too
