    Hi Guys,
I can not tell if this is a pattern 1796, 1811 Blucher or neither?
    Absolutely no markings!

Now are you ready for the really crazy part?

This sword was (supposedly) found on a battlefield in the United States (mid west) around 1880 + or - (indian Wars).

Here is what I can tell you it defiantly appears to have been in the elements for short period of time in the past it also does have an edge to the blade.

Is any of this possible or even remotely plausible????
I have NEVER Heard of these weapons in use during Indian wars?
    I would appreciate ANY Input!

    Sword length 35’5 inches
    Width of blade 1.5”
    Blade length 31”

    Please help!
