Israeli M1949 - conversion from k98
I want to "wake up" this, old, thread, sry. ´bout that ! ...
Today I received another, Israeli, Mk.IA. bayonet showin´ this, particular, mark.
Such stamping isn´t that often seen upon scabbards of the Mk.IA. !!!
Here´s an e-mail, I received from Israel in December 2011:
Dear Sir,
Thank you for your enquiry. I have done some research into the background behind the marking.
The marking is made by the company that produced the bayonet, and certifies that it is safe for use.
I hope this helps you.
Kind regards,
