SA80 Bayonet

Article about: Thought i would show a SA80 bayonet as not sure if one has been shown before i will mostly put one up for sale as i have a couple Annoyed from this ads?

    The wire cutters are crap guys, they dont work very well.

    And here's mine. Fixed certainly, though thankfully never applied 'in anger' on my tour. Now she lies dormant in my box of nostalgia in the basement. Pictures were taken by our 'terp' (interpreter) in Rahim Kalay, Kopak in early November 2009.
    For the trivia record - we never once used scabbards in theatre, not on my tour anyway. Just slid the blade upside-down in the side loops of body armour. Those gucci saw-blade scabbards were kept in stores by the Coy QM (Stores) Bloke. And the desert spray paint was a phase a mate and I went through in 2008 - made it our task to once-over all our kit with the stuff before we deployed. Zealous young Guardsmen that we were

    Yes, a very nice "Four-Line Narrow Font M9 4th Generation Patent Pending Phrobis III M9 Bayonet"

    Such M9 MPBS, (M-9 Multipurpose Bayonet System) -bayonets are quiete collectible, thx. for showing !

    Yes!..........I hope the quality of SA80 bayonets has improved a friend of mine broke the blade on two of them during bayonet practice!.....
