Nothing rare or exotic here, just the only two bayonets I have, both K98's. One has an early frog without the strap, back of leather is marked but hard to read, I think it is dated 1936. The other is a wartime frog with strap, unmarked. Both bayonets are E U F Horster and dated "39" Both have serial numbers matching with the scabbards. Enjoy!
It seems to be an Austrian frog.
In 1938, after the "Anschluss", (the occupation of Austria), huge units of the, (former), Austrian Bundesheer "joined" the Wehrmacht, wearing the Austrian uniforms, also, Austrian weapons, (including Steyr Mannlicher rifles and carbines, also the MPi34 together with them bayonets and frogs).
IMO this is an Austrian frog, added the straps to hold the bayonet like the SG84/98III frog does, later in war.
Best,
R.
P.S.:
Mannlicher rifles, (also the bayonets), were doing duty in the Wehrmacht, Volkssturm, Police and other units till the end.

Thanks Reibert for the information mate, most helpful.
All the best.
You´re welcome !
Wanna show you an interesting Mannlicher bayonet, you also can see the Austrian frog.
It´s a, so called, "Stutzenbajonett" that was mounted on the Mannlicher "Stutzen", a kind of carbine.
This bayo was made by Steyr and shows the federal eagle of the Austrian "Second Republic" stamped upon the blade, and was in use in the Austrian Gendarmerie after WWII.
Note the removed ring in the pommel to hold the NCO´s portepee and the removed ancillary sight, it is typical for the "Stutzen" !
This bayonet shows the letters L.G.K.N.Ö. stamped upon the pommel that means, Landes-Gendarmeriekommando Niederösterreich.
I think, this is an very interesting bayonet showing a part of the history of the Police of Austria.
not mine but i like the look of it
