Here's my "butcher" bayonet but i'm not 100% sure what it is, imperial markings ground off the spine of the blade and smooth grips added, i think it's a Polish reissue.

Hi Harry, 100% accurate. I'm not sure about the brass screws.

aghsmac1, the trench knife from 1903 looks fantastic

Thumbs up Re: Show me your bayonet

I really like the trench knife aghs. I like everybody's pic of there favorites. I only have a couple of special bayonets. One being the matching 43ASW with 44ASW matching serial # scabbard. But I love them ALL. The other ones I picked up along the way. I will have to get a pic of my footlocker storage of my bayonets. I collect helmets, rifles and bayonets from WW2 (American,Russian, Italian,British,Japanese, with some Spanish and Swiss thrown in there). So I have all of those . One of my other favorites is the Swiss 1914 pioneer sawback that I have. The others are from WW1 and older . I'll try to take some pic's soon. Thanks again everybody for sharing their pic's

It´s a, so called, "Stutzenbajonett" that was mounted on the Mannlicher "Stutzen", a kind of carbine.

    To compare:
