    Somebody can confirm, that the blades of the South African No.9 bayonet also were manufactured by IMI, (using "salvaged" " israeli made" blades by SA ?), or, only manufactured by Armaments Corporation of South Africa (ARMSCOR), Lyttelton Engineering Works, Pretoria ?

    Reibert,

    SKENNERTON states in British & Commonwealth Bayonets that the sockets were made at ARMSCOR's subsiduaries or subcontractors and the blades were spare S1 Uzi SMG bayonet blades originally manufactured in Belgium however it is possible that some newly made blades were produced on ARMSCOR contracts.
