    For what it's worth, I don't believe that they are theatre made and may actually be non-military as well. They're obviously fairly uniform in shape as far as the grips and blade configurations go and even the ages also. Civilian made fighting knives,maybe? Normally, when an unknown fighting knife comes up, I usually say "Ask Reibert", but in This case...well...

    IMO, definately not "civilian made" fighting knives !

    Got informations from a collectors mate from Slovakia, that this model possibly could be of russian origin and some images of more of such knives, but I´m not allowed to show them because the knives are not from his own collection.

    He also told me, that in R.E.Flook´s "A PHOTOGRAPHIC PRIMER OF MILITARY KNIVES" you can find such knife under no.82 and there´s written:
    ... Sold to me as an unidentified combat knife.
    This piece is almost certainly of russian origin.
    ...

    But, "almost certainly" isn´t enough for me !

    In an other source I read, that such knives maybe came from the former "Eastern Block", maybe from Romania, Czechoslovakia, or, Russia ...
