Unknown kukri

Hello

I'm looking for some information on a kukri (I'm not even sure if it can be classified as one).
I recently found it in a property I was renovating and have no knowledge about these blades, the scabbard is taped up and looks to be missing a blade.
The handle looks to be missing something or is just roughly finished.
It has a few stamp marks on the blade but what these mean I have no idea?

I believe it is a Indian issue one as British issue were marked with /l\ broad arrow mark
