I couldn't tell you, the seller is located in the UK and will be shipping it to me, in the US. So hopefully, it will arrive soon. The seller also said this knife is seen in the book(not this particular knife) "fighting knives" by Frederick Stephens, if that helps any.
No probs make sure you keep us updated though and post some pics when it arrives.
Cheers Luke.
This is a unique knife and a very rare item 85 dollars is a steal. even if this turn out to not be military related even though i think it is i would say still worth a boat load to knife collectors !!
very interesting piece of hardware, and damned lethal by the look of it although i suspect you would need to know the right places to cause most damage due to its size , I take the ring fits over the middle finger and the half rings fit over the first and third fingers respectively whilst in a clenched fist , perhaps not fully designed to kill but to incapacitate an attacker or foe
A poke to the kidney would not be too beneficial....

By the way, this was also an ebay find. majority of my collection is cherry picked from the mysterious forest of Ebay.
In the words of Mick Dundee, "That's not a knife" ;-)
So I just got home from work and found this in my mailbox. Here are the pictures. Heh. "antique bottle opener"
I also got this other stuff along with it and it seems the sheath is not the same one in the other picture. Does this Stallag tag thing look real? Not sure why the seller included that and what looks like a marine corps boot strap.
PRYM 2? marking on the snap.
I tried to take a picture of the stitching if that helps any...
Thanks
John
I Should have added pictures of the front of the sheath as well...
