Article about: Hallo, here is a white painted scabbard. The type is like the Vz24 copy, made by FN M1935 for Peru(?) But with white Paint i see no time bevor. Has this scabbard painted in Peru or deliverd

    But with white Paint i see no time bevor.

    Has this scabbard painted in Peru or deliverd FN this type of vz.24 copy to other contrys in Europe?

    Lots of goose stepping and Stahlhelms in Latin America...
    Might also have been issued to Police or Navy who favour white equipment, especially for parade/formal use.

    Looks like Peru M1935 scabbard under the white paint looks like is normal blueing? so it could be a camo or a later applied paint.

    Why not white camo in Peru, there is higland area with peaks to 6000 m in Andes.But certainly it could be other contract too. As FN deliveries are not described correctly. best regards,Andy

    Almost certainly. Parade or duty use and done at unit level.

    I think just about every military force in the world does this!
