He doesn't have any online at the moment but I regularly see spare French scabbards sold on bayonetman.com for reasonable prices with free international postage.

I think the scabbard is for an English 1853 1st model artillery bayonet. The 1853 was a direct copy of the French 1842 with some slight differences, so I'm pretty sure the scabbards would interchange. The 1853 is a hard bayonet to find and the scabbard is pretty rare!

Looks like a decent 1856 Enfield bayonet. Is the back of the pommel/handle shaped concave? Looks like an 1856 from the side profile of the handle.
