I've never heard of that maker. The blade looks like an ak-47 blade fitted to for an M-7 type handle, it almost has a Stg57 end on it, but no locking button. There was a blade the swiss made that looked like an M-4 bayonet with a Stg57 locking end.

It was made for a prototype rifle it was made for the E22/C42, an eighties Waffenfabrik Bern prototype in 5.6 x 45 caliber. I wonder if it was another prototype for that? They made a few different variations.

Has the look of a Austrian glock knife (Bayonet) of some sort. Looks cool!

SOrry, I had the Swiss flu for a moment there, I thought it looked familiar, but couldn't think outside the canton lol. I'm at a loss though.

It does have design influences from several bayonets.
'Zeitler, Wein' would indicate Austria, so I recon
the Austrian Government likely issued these
    at some point in time.........

There was a bayonet, made by Kühler & Eisenwaren Fabrik Fischer, (KEFF)), Wien, for use in Austrian United Nations units, (AUSBATT/UNEF in Syria), introduced in 1974 for the Sturmgewehr 58.
Due to protests of the UNO and arab side this particular bayonet was withdrawn from service.
Only a few of them were manufactured !
As a result the ZEITLER company was charged to develop a multi-purpose field knife, (FM77).

BTW, the Kühler bayonet also was showing such crossguard, (muzzle ring diameter app. 22mm) !

I heard, that the Kühler-bayonet also was attachable to the AUG77, (like the ZEITLER Feldmesser 77).

It could be possible, that my bayonet, (muzzle ring diameter: 22,3mm), is a kind of "prototype", made by ZEITLER, to be used with the Sturmgewehr 58 and the AUG77 ?
