Article about: Hi all. I picked this up at a flea market yesterday. I know condition can't get much worse but I always pick up things I don't recognise if they are priced right. My initial thoughts are tha

    Here's a wild card. Could it be a Belgium contract bayonet manufactured by Schitzler & Kirschbaum of Solingen?
    What is the blade length and overall length?

    Well I got the tape measure out and it appears that the bayonet conforms to the measurements quoted in the book. Blade length roughly 22.5 inches and overall just over 27 inches.
