    Very similar to the compressed fibre made Cromwell helmets, this one made by ACME has the top part made of metal.Presumably to give better protection.
    Apart from the ACME PROV. PATENT there are no other markings that I can see, liner is very similar to the Mk2 liner with just a few subtle differences.
    The chin strap is made of leather.

    Never seen one of those before, looks like it was knocked up in someones shed! Like it lots great find.

    Nice find Aaron I have seen the Cromwell from time to time but this one is new on me I really like the looks of it the construction characteristics are quite interesting .
