    That is a nice MkII,Roberto
Its got everything you want on an Aussie Helmet.Like AIF said we usually didnt put the packs on the side of the Helmet but what better place to display the Bandage and Net.
The Wardens Helmet is a good one too, usually they have the "W" on the front and back but that is not a problem and a nice clear Commonwealth Steel batch number too.

A very nice and not often encountered Aussie Mk II and as stated by Jerry they do not come up for sale in the marketplace very often and can be rather pricey.
I was lucky enought to add one to my own collection last year but my search still continues for an example from NZ to add to my shelf.

Nice lid Mark, You need to find yourself a net for it now!

Taking the net off these is no problem just do it gently, I do it all the time to clean the dust off the helmets, it's a bit hard to do it with a net on it.

Thanks Gents NZ Mk II's are extremley hard to source I have seen a few CD variations but I am holding out for a Army issued example .
I have quite a few nets kicking around but would like to add a Aussie large square knotted to this example so one can still see the soldiers graffiti that adorns the exterior of the helmet body.

    Regards Mark
