Default British MK IV: Camo paint, anything special?

I am looking to pick up this helmet very soon from eBay and I'm slightly thrown by its camouflage scheme. I recognise the helmet as being a british tortuous shell helmet which I was hopeing to buy an example of anyway. But this helmet caught my eye, if anybody could tell me if the paint scheme is military issue or if it has just been painted after its military use I would very much appreciate it

These are the pictures the seller provided

Post war done IMHO and it looks to have traces of red paint under the brim. This type of helmet might be a post war issue anyway, with the lift the dot liner, though some I think were issued late war with this type.

Looks like an attempt to match the DPM camo pattern worn from the 1970's onwards.

    Cheers, Ade.

Well, it IS a tortoise shell helmet so what other paint scheme would it have other than a TMNT!!!!!! ( TEENAGE MUTANT NINJA TURTLES )

These Mk4's were produced from early 45 until jan'46. Its doubtful that they got to front line troops before wars end.
