Insignia looks like an E4 specialist, and I only know that because my grandpa was one. Really cool cover, where'd you get it?

Basically similar to a corporal. Like a mechanic. My grandpa was a missile technician if that helps.

no, not quite an NCO, SP4 is one step below a sergeant. Now they call it SPC, they got rid of the other Specialist ranks E-4 is just the pay grade(to confuse people, they added more abbreviations to the list)
