    Lovely !

Good to see them all of them in one post . Many thanks.

The strips of oil cloth seems to be a Canadian thing. Did the strips come ready made , or did you have to cut them yourself ? I have often wondered.

Steve the strips as far as I can remember came on a role pre-cut to width and if memory serves me correct there were 5 different colors.
Black being one of them but it is rarely seen..

Can you show the difference between early and late merrowed edges ?

Hi Steve will post up a couple of examples tonight after work of the earlier woven with merrowed edge and the later woven examples.

Steve I only have a couple images on file of the one net I was referring to and nothing that shows the edge detail very close and can not take more pictures as it now resides in a collection in Holland as you can see by the size of the net it would have been more suited to fit a Mk III and or M-1 than the Mk II one of the largest woven Canadian nets I had ever seen..

And Canadian two tone with Merrowed edge..
