Canadian MKII with a dent

Article about: This Canadian MKII walked in a few days ago. Shell has a very big dent that make me want to *DINGG* everytime I see it. Shell dated Canadian lamp company 1942 and liner Viceroy manufacturing

    Now there is no reason to be hasty and if it was either just the chinstrap and or the liner retention nut and bolt alone that had been replaced and or repaired with a war time era comparable I would not even had brought up the possibility of post war replaced as we all know that sh#t happens in the field and a soldier will do what ever it takes in the pinch to get by
    That said it is an interesting Mk II that I would happily display in my own collection it does make one ponder the possibilities about the dent near the dome.
