Dean what are the outside dimensions of the pads on your head set I just measured the pockets/pouches for the headphones in the scrum for my Tankers helmet and they look like they will accommodate a head set less than 2 1/2 inches in diameter.

I don't think they would fit in the pockets.

I think these would be worn under the steel amour vehicle helmet.

You may be correct Taka they maybe to large to fit in the pockets/pouches on the second pattern tankers helmet but might work well with the HSRAC still I am rather curious though as to the diameter.

I have a set of RCAF detached headphones , but they are RCAF marked . So I guess they wouldn't work for you . They do look to be the right size for the pockets .

There might be chances of them using equipments from different branches.

At least it's not 0%. You never know, anything "was" possible back then.

The RCAF headphones are too small, I have a few sets of them myself, I have a box full of "army" headsets and mics, I will get a photo of it later, maybe there is something that would work.
