    G'day All

Here's my para helmet with nice original paint. I believe was modified by the Aussie airborne at one time, but I can't confirm this.

Very nice The paint is good to see, with the splotch of yellow to the inside as found in some of these.

Good to see it has not been messed with. Some dodgy sellers try to cover up the extra chinstrap hole and convert them back to leather chinstraps.

    Cheers, Ade.

    Hi,
A loverly example, with the paint, yellow blob, & nice liner. Just a shame it's been converted.

Glad you brought this thread back up, might not have seen it otherwise.
Nice looking example, it would be good to know for sure if it is an Aussie converted lid,
but it is a fair speculation IMO.
Any ideas what the yellow splotch might signify?

    Brad.
