helmet decal

this was a cheap pick-up from a canadian surplus store. i have always wondered what the decal was for, but i have been out of luck trying to figure it out. anyone kn ow what it is? its dated 1940 if that helps at all.

do you know what the decal stood for or is it just a general danish decal?

did the danes use these kinds of helmets?

YES,,,of course you are right,,,its Norwegian,,,DUH,,,Norway used lots of helmets from other countries,,,German captured,British,etc as well as their own,,,

wow, i even know what norwegian decals look like haha. i was so focused on it being canadian that i never even considered the possibility of it being from somewhere else.

Actually I would say it could have been a Danish decal

Denmark used British Mk II's and "turtle" helmets until 1948 / 1949. But they never put decals on them, so this helmet is definitely a Norwegian one.
