Home front marked helmets.

There is an amazing amount of variety when it come to home front marked helmets, most have initials painted to the front of them that we just don't know, or will ever find out what they stand for. If you are lucky some will have the name on, which sometimes can be looked up.
So I thought I'd put some up here that I have had, or still have.

I'm a lost cause Didier
But here is an easy one, Ross Mill, they were a cotton spinning factory. The mill was in a town called Bacup which is between Burnley & Rochdale.

Hi Aaron I hope you don't mind if I make a contribution from this side of the puddle although not as many CD and home front lids were used in Canada during the war so identification is on the norm much easier here are a few from my collection.
