M1881 Dress Helmet 3rd Artillery

Enlisted ranks dress helmet for the light batteries of the 3rd Artillery Regiment. Stamped under sweatband Horstmann , Philadelphia, March 4, 1899.
Many of these were never worn or issued, such as this one, I believe.
Still need to locate a chinstrap.

Thanks, my hope is to one day acquire a cavalry officer's helmet, or at least a complete enlisted version.

I also enjoy these and it is something that is on my list of gotta get one.
