Is this a M26 or m36 Adrian helmet?

Article about: An out of the wood work and untouched helmet that I picked it up at a show. What is it and is it war time, late war or into post war? There's no date on the liner or shell and on the reverse

An out of the wood work and untouched helmet that I picked it up at a show. What is it and is it war time, late war or into post war? There's no date on the liner or shell and on the reverse of one liner finger is ink stamped "58" , I assume is the liner size, and below that is stamped "FABRA, then under that is LA CANDURGUE" Ray

Check this site out if you want to learn about Frenchicon helmets I just found. It shows all the French helmet particulars, what a great site.

It looks like the helmet is post WWII. Ray

Here is my 26 which has been identified as WWII era. The paint color, liner and other details put it somewhere in the pre-war period of 1937-38. Great web site above! It helped me identify the RF shield as variant 3 for infantry or cavalry. Check out that web site and compare your helmet details. NH

For me, it's a WWII and not post war.

I wish it was but according to the lining color that site shows it as 1950 period lining. If you have any other info that would put it as WWII please let me know, Ray

So, liner from 1940, inside after WWII, also the jugular, the badge seems to be fake.
The color of the inside is typical for post WWII.

Do you mean on your helmet or mine?
Here's mine, I don't know if it's a repro or not but it appears to have been on the helmet a long time, Ray
