    HELLO TO ALL

JUST I CASE THAT THERE ARE ADRIAN HELMET ADDICTS OUT THERE, I WANT TO SHOW THIS RATHER RARE EXAMPLE OF A MEXICAN ADRIAN HELMET.

THIS PARTICULAR EXAMPLE HAS NO EXTERNAL RIVETS, THE INTERNAL LINER HOOKS ARE QUITE UNUSUAL, AS IS THE INNER VENTING HOLE UNDER THE CREST. IT HAS NO BADGE, SEEMS IT NEVER HAD ONE AS THERE ARE NO MARKINGS OR HOLES.

I BELIEVE THIS TO BE AN ADRIAN HELMET OF MEXICAN CONSTRUCTION, THERE IS THE RUMOR THAT THERE WAS A SHORT RUN OF LOCAL PRODUCTION, BESIDES THE "ORIGINAL CLASSIC RIVETED" ADRIANS BROUGHT FROM FRANCE.

I HAVE A RIVETED MEX- aRMY ADRIAN THAT HAS THE "FRENCK" STAMP INSIDE.

MEXICOS ARMY USED THE ADRIAN FROM 1930 - 1948.

OBVIOUSLY ANY THOUGHTS OR COMMENTS ARE WELCOME

    SALUDOS AMIGOS..

    DAN

Nice variation. Typical that all the liners of the Mexican Adrians are missing.
"Please", Thank You" and proper manners appreciated

Looks very much like an Italian M16 Lippmann.

There are differences between the Italiano and the Mexicano.
mainly that the Italiano Comb has two large rivets but misses the small tiny single rivets (for the inner liner hooks) that the Mexicano has.

The look quite the same but are not the same thing..

I tossed this one on ebay as i have enough MX_ adrians in my collection already, but i wanted to leave proof of its existance at this foum for investigators of future generations, as Internet never forgets ( for good and bad...)
