    Default Mk 2 1940 dated

Hi Fellow collectors. Here's a Mk 2 from my collection. Both the shell and liner are dated 1940, nothing particularity unusual about it, but the condition is remarkable for the age, with the exception of the liner which is slowly beginning to degrade.I would appreciate any advice on the maker of this helmet. Thanks for looking, Regards Opex.

What a nice Mk. II ! Like the inner green paint.

Looks like the first word for the liner maker is a V. (VLDO ?)

    Thank you for posting.

    Regards,
    Taka

The liner is made by VERO, probably the most commonly seen.
