    possible Mark but isn't also possible that postwar Belgium may of purchased a large Batch of these in the same way they used Wartime Brit mk2's and M1's?

    Hi Jake, Yes there was a shortage of helmets during WW2, 1940 until sometime in 41. That's why you have the Mk2 No.2's, plus also the non- steel private purchase types.
    Have read somewhere they used a number of S.A. Mk2's as well, I seem to remember a picture of one with an NFS badge on.
    But glad this other one has come to light.
