Default MK2 Tan helmet with 1945 dated liner

    Hello
I picked up this wonderful MK2 helmet
It have the standart MK2 black liner rests on it and were complete
The seller means that he bought it 20 Years ago on a british fleamarked
The liner is Marked CCL 1945 and the shell 1942
The colour seem period and the strap is a standart MK3
What do you think about this helmet?
Is it a real 8th army helmet or postwar made?
Was it used in the desertwar 1940-43?

    Best regards

If it's the original khaki green, could have been used anywhere, if it's been repainted, again, used in a number of places.

The colour is so old like on my MK2 SA version
It seem under it is green
Like a original 8th army one
The liner seem replaced after the desertwar IMO
In all cases a wonderful helmet
I am like to post you next week my 5 new Brodies that I ve bought very cheap if they arrive before Chrismas
A big advantage if British militaria is unpopular in Germany
