Article about: To kick this of, my favorite mkII. Liner is Teddy Toy company and the shell is Joseph Sankey & Sons and both are dated 1940. The hand painted serial number matches one from the block of

    Quite hard to find the carrier, and in good condition.
    Helmets not to bad either, bet there are a few other markings under that white paint.

    I had one like this many moons ago, absolutely no idea of what the markings were for.

    Yep, I've been seeing these for years too.....no idea either...... but my latest theory...and it IS my theory...... is that dinosaurs are thin at one end....errrr....no...thats the OTHER theory......that the white panel at the front was for something temporay to be written on........or for visibilty (thats 3 theories!).......or possibly he worked for a Company called "The White Rectangle Company Ltd" (ok, thats 4 theories now)......ooo...ooh...how about someone went back in time and painted a batch up just to confuse us all.....well, thats what my life feels like every damn day!!!! :-)

    My latest MkII - BMB 1940 shell, with a 1955 dated liner but its the hand painted Jordanian Civil Defence badge that makes it 'really interesting'

    Probably used up in to the 60s possibly early 70s

    Hi,home guard issue mk11 nothing special but nice,I believe that this net has never been removed ,I was tempted but I didn't, liner by FH dated 1941.
